As part of its Water Week 2010 celebration, the CWSA celebrated Customer Appreciation Day at its main office at New Montrose on Tuesday March 23rd, 2010. The day took the form of one-on-one interactions between the staff of the CWSA and its walk-in customers where the opportunity was used to inform customers about the CWSA/Solid Waste Management’s operations, procedures, products and services, including its waste reduction initiatives of charcoal, wood-chips and compost. The CWSA’s water supply system, from source to the consumer, was also demonstrated by way of a model and several water conservation tips were also offered by way of leaflets which were distributed to customers and schools.
