Septage Lagoon at Diamond

Faecal waste or septage disposal will soon be properly managed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Health and the Environment and the CWSA have resulted in the construction of a series of lagoons to facilitate natural decomposition and treatment close to the Diamond Landfill. This facility will be operated by the CWSA and will accept waste from septic tanks throughout the country.
